SUMMARY:Coordinated Entry Assessor Training
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming Southern Nevada Coordinated Entry (CE) Assessor training\, taking place September 14th–17th\, 2026. \nAs Southern Nevada transitions to the new RISE Coordinated Entry Housing Assessment\, this training is designed to strengthen our community’s ability to conduct high-quality\, trauma-informed\, and equitable housing assessments. Through an interactive learning experience\, participants will gain the foundational knowledge\, practical tools\, and hands-on experience needed to successfully complete the RISE Housing Assessment within HMIS. \nWhether you are new to Coordinated Entry or stepping into a CE Agency Data Lead (ADL) role\, this training will equip you with the skills and confidence to effectively support the Coordinated Entry process using the new RISE assessment. \nThis training is intended for: \n\nNew CE Assessors\nCurrent CE Assessors who will be completing the new RISE Housing Assessment\nCE Agency Data Leads (ADLs)\n\n  \nTraining Details: \nAvailable Training Dates: September 14\, 15\, 16\, or 17\, 2026 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM \nPlease note: This is a one-day training offered on four separate dates. Participants only need to attend one session. \nReminders: \nWe are allowing an hour lunch break. Also\, the parking on Thursday’s can be challenging due to the walk-in Thursday clinic\, so please be prepared for that. Access to conduct RISE assessments within HMIS will only be granted after successfully demonstrating the required skills. \nWe look forward to learning together and partnering with you to launch the new RISE assessment and continue strengthening Coordinated Entry practices across Southern Nevada! \nSee additional requirement notes here.

DESCRIPTION:Semper Fi & America’s Fund’s Housing Insecurity Initiative is offering potential financial assistance with the following if a veteran meets our eligibility criteria: \n\nEntry into new housing — currently homeless; first month’s rent and/or deposit\nEviction prevention — notice of eviction / pay-or-quit notice required\nUtility assistance — requires an active disconnect notice with a future date of disconnection\, or\, if the utilities are currently off\, proof that the utility is currently shut off or disconnected; necessity utilities only (gas\, electricity\, water\, sewer). Utility must be in the veteran’s name.\n\nThis program is available for veterans of any era and is available nationwide. The veteran must have a minimum of 6 months of service and a DD214 or NGB22. \nDisqualifying factors: \n\nFelony conviction\nSex offender\nDishonorable discharge\nLess than 6 months of service\n\nPlease do not submit referrals with any disqualifying factors.
