SUMMARY:Frontline Learning Collaborative
DESCRIPTION:For the month of September\, we will have presentations by Silver Summit Healthplan and Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. \nIf you are interested in presenting information about your agency\, please reach out and we’ll get you on the schedule. \nFRONTLINE LEARNING COLLABORATIVE DESCRIPTION:  \nThis learning collaborative is for frontline staff and people frequently engaging with those experiencing a housing crisis.   \nWe need the limited seats for the frontline all-stars\, so managers/directors please encourage your frontline folks to attend\, and if you are working magic on the frontline\, please JOIN US! What is “frontline”: shelter workers\, outreach workers\, housing case managers\, intake workers\, etc. \nThis learning collaborative is happening in response to the Coordinated Entry Review focus groups\, where many frontline staff said they don’t know what resources are best available to connect people within the community.  This is to continue to support real connections to the humans behind the resources. We will be building relationships\, sharing resource knowledge\, crowdsourcing within the collective brilliance in the room\, and we will focus monthly sessions on the topics that frontline staff are asking for. This will be facilitated by 2-3 amazing frontline team members who are deeply familiar with local resources and are connected to people who can share the types of info you’re asking for. \nThank you for your continued efforts to improve our community.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 5th Annual Nevada Statewide Conference on Addressing Homelessness\, Nevada’s premier gathering of service providers\, healthcare professionals\, people with lived experience\, advocates\, government agencies\, educators\, housing partners\, business leaders\, researchers\, and community members committed to creating solutions to homelessness. \nThis year’s theme\, Flipping the Script: What Happens Here Changes Here\, challenges us to rethink assumptions\, reimagine systems\, and explore bold new approaches to addressing homelessness across our state. Together\, we will examine how changing narratives\, strengthening partnerships\, elevating lived expertise\, and embracing innovation can create meaningful and lasting impact in our communities. \nOver the course of this dynamic conference\, attendees will engage in inspiring keynote presentations\, interactive breakout sessions\, thought-provoking panel discussions\, networking opportunities\, and collaborative conversations designed to move ideas into action. Topics will include housing and homelessness\, behavioral health\, healthcare access\, outreach and engagement\, prevention\, policy and advocacy\, systems coordination\, lived experience leadership\, and emerging practices from across Nevada and beyond. \nThis conference is more than a place to learn—it’s a place to connect\, collaborate\, and challenge the status quo. Whether you are new to this work or a seasoned leader\, you will leave with practical strategies\, new partnerships\, fresh perspectives\, and renewed energy to advance solutions in your community. \nHosted by the Nevada Homeless Alliance\, this milestone 5th Annual Conference continues to serve as one of Nevada’s leading forums for education\, collaboration\, advocacy\, and systems change. Because what happens here should not stay here—it should change how we think\, how we lead\, and how we respond to homelessness throughout Nevada.
