NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Homelessness Continuum of Care Board (SNHCoC) will be held at 3:00 PM on April 2, 2025, Online Via Teams, to consider the following: 

AGENDA

  1. Welcome and Roll Call: Miguel Davila, Chair (3:00-3:05 PM)
  2. Approval of March 12, 2025 SNHCoC Board Meeting Minutes For Possible Action (3:05-3:10 PM)
  3. Approval of the Agenda with the inclusion of any emergency items and deletion of any items For Possible Action (3:10-3:15 PM)
  4. Discuss the needs of the Core Committees, The Youth Action Board, and the Lived X Team, to be addressed by the Board. For Possible Action (3:15-3:40 PM)
    1. Coordinated Services Committee: Nicole Anderson and Kelly Rupp
    2. Programs Committee: Kirsten Carl and Dr. Catrina Grigsby-Thedford
    3. HMIS Steering Committee: Angela Ranck
    4. Youth Action Board: Davion Smith
    5. Lived X Team: Donica Martinez and Martin Castro
  1. Discuss and develop communications strategy and engagement with the SNHCoC Membership and Committees. For Possible Action (4:00-4:30 PM)
    1. Review plan for Upcoming Meet and Greet
  1. Discuss whether to include a public comment section in future agendas and determine necessary implementation steps. For Possible Action (4:30-4:45)
  2. Identify emerging issues to be addressed by staff or by the Board at future meetings, and direct staff accordingly: Brenda Barnes For Discussion (4:45-5:00 PM)

In Southern Nevada, we need more affordable rental units to help people in our community become financially independent and thrive. Our community needs more studio, 1 and 2 bedroom rentals as well as bigger units.
