We are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming Southern Nevada Coordinated Entry (CE) Assessor training, taking place September 14th–17th, 2026.
As Southern Nevada transitions to the new RISE Coordinated Entry Housing Assessment, this training is designed to strengthen our community’s ability to conduct high-quality, trauma-informed, and equitable housing assessments. Through an interactive learning experience, participants will gain the foundational knowledge, practical tools, and hands-on experience needed to successfully complete the RISE Housing Assessment within HMIS.
Whether you are new to Coordinated Entry or stepping into a CE Agency Data Lead (ADL) role, this training will equip you with the skills and confidence to effectively support the Coordinated Entry process using the new RISE assessment.
This training is intended for:
- New CE Assessors
- Current CE Assessors who will be completing the new RISE Housing Assessment
- CE Agency Data Leads (ADLs)

Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Please note: This is a one-day training offered on four separate dates. Participants only need to attend one session.
Reminders:
We are allowing an hour lunch break. Also, the parking on Thursday’s can be challenging due to the walk-in Thursday clinic, so please be prepared for that. We also appreciate your help in keeping the training room clean.
Capacity: Each session is limited to 40 participants, so early registration is encouraged. All participants must register for the specific training date they plan to attend.

At the conclusion of the training, participants will complete a hands-on skills assessment designed to demonstrate their ability to accurately complete a RISE Coordinated Entry Housing Assessment within the HMIS Training Site.
Participants who do not demonstrate the required level of proficiency will be asked to repeat the training before receiving authorization to independently complete RISE Coordinated Entry Housing Assessments. Access to conduct RISE assessments within HMIS will only be granted after successfully demonstrating the required skills.
