Reports and Data

Reports and Data

The SNV Continuum of Care (CoC) is tasked with the collection, tracking, and reporting of extensive data related to homelessness in our region. While many of these reports are required by funding agencies, additional reports—such as Dashboards—offer timely and valuable insights into the CoC’s progress and performance in achieving its mission.

The Annual Homeless Assessment Report

The Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) is a HUD report to Congress that estimates homelessness across the U.S. It includes details on the demographics of homeless individuals, their service use, and the availability of housing for them. The report relies on data from Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), one-day point-in-time counts in January, and information on local shelter and housing resources.
